Can we talk about what's really going on at home?

You’re tired of those circular arguments with your partner about parenting. One of you feels the other is too strict, while the other thinks they’re too lenient. And your kid, caught in the middle, is getting mixed signals that just leave everyone frustrated. You try to keep calm, but it feels like every conversation turns into a tug-of-war. And you wonder: How do we break this cycle?

You lie awake at night, replaying moments where you sounded exactly like your parents — despite every promise you made to yourself to do things differently. You told yourself you’d never use the same harsh tone, the same old threats, or get stuck in that same pattern of disconnect. But there you are, feeling like you’ve fallen into the very things you swore you’d avoid.

Or maybe, your child seems to experience the world in a way that just feels different from other kids. The school calls more than you’d like. "We need to talk." You’re running out of explanations for their behavior, and patience is running thin. Is this just a phase? Or is there something more here that we’re missing?

And let’s not forget the feeling of your partner becoming more like a roommate than the person you once shared everything with. You exchange info on who’s picking up the kids, who’s going to the doctor, but those warm, spontaneous moments of connection? They’re slipping away, leaving you both feeling like ships passing in the night. You miss the way things used to feel, but you’re stuck in this cycle of just surviving the day-to-day.

It’s overwhelming, isn’t it? You’re doing your best to keep everything together, but the emotional and mental load of parenting, partnering, and managing life feels like too much. You’ve tried reading the books, asking for advice, even Googling for solutions but nothing seems to work. And honestly, you’re tired of hearing “just communicate more” when it feels like you’re already talking in circles.

You know something has to change, but where do you start? And who can help when it feels like you’re not even sure what the problem really is?

I see you. You’re not alone in this. We’ll break this down together and find real ways to shift the dynamic so you can finally get on the same page, understand what’s really going on with your child, and rebuild the connection with your partner.

What Life Could Look Like After Therapy…

You wake up one morning, and instead of feeling overwhelmed by everything you need to fix, you feel clear. You feel supported. You feel like you’ve got a plan that works for YOU and your family.

Imagine being able to sit down with your partner — no more arguing over every little thing — and finally get on the same page about how you want to raise your kids. Or, picture understanding your child’s behavior for what it truly is and feeling empowered to handle whatever comes your way, no matter how challenging.

That’s the power of working together. It’s not about quick fixes or pretending like things are perfect. It’s about creating real change that’s sustainable, no matter what life throws at you.

FAQs

  • Every family has their own rhythm. Some parents tell me they notice positive shifts after just a few conversations, while working through deeper stuff like changing long-standing patterns often unfolds more gradually. We'll check in regularly about what's working and adjust as we go.

  • While I offer supportive therapy for families navigating the possibilities of autism, ADHD, or OCD, getting a formal diagnosis involves a more comprehensive assessment. I'm happy to help you spot signs that suggest further evaluation might be helpful and connect you with trusted specialists.

  • I believe in meeting each child exactly where they are. For kids on the spectrum or with other neurodivergent traits, this means taking time to understand their unique sensory experiences, communication style, and special interests. We'll work together to create an environment where everyone feels understood.

  • Think of regular sessions as steady rain that helps things grow over time. Intensives are more like diving into the deep end—they give couples or families dedicated space to work through significant challenges without having to restart the conversation each week. They're particularly helpful when you're feeling stuck or facing a major transition.

  • I operate as a private-pay practice, which allows for greater flexibility and privacy in your treatment. However, I can provide superbills that you may submit to your insurance for possible out-of-network reimbursement.

  • Individual therapy sessions: 30 min ($65), 45 min ($90), 60 min ($120)

    Couples/family therapy: 55 min ($150)

    Parenting/co-parenting sessions: 55 min ($150-$200)

    Intensives: 2 hours ($375, requires $100 deposit), 5.5 hours ($750, requires $300 deposit)

  • Yes, I require 48 hours' notice for cancellations. Late cancellations or no-shows for regular sessions will be charged the full session fee. For intensives, there is a cancellation fee of $175 (for 2-hour sessions) or $375 (for 5.5-hour sessions) for cancellations with less than 48 hours' notice.
